Jones extends stay at Old Trafford

TOP STORY: June 05, 2006 05:00 PM EST - Manchester, England (Sports Network) - Manchester United announced Monday that midfielder Ritchie Jones has signed a new two-year contract with the Premiership club. The 19-year-old, who made his first team debut against Barnet in the League Cup last October, will remain at Old Trafford until June 2008.

Jones was a member of the Reserves team that clinched the Treble last season. The Reds also captured the Reserve League Shield, Manchester Senior Cup and FA Premier Reserve League North.
