GOONERS UNITE

Impressive young talent Aaron Ramsey is recognized for his playmaking abilities and impressive passes. Hailing from Wales, the midfielder spent his youth career with Cardiff City before coming up to the senior level in 2006. He signed with Arsenal in 2008, but spend the 2010-2011 campaign loaned to Nottingham Forest and 2011 loaned to Cardiff City. In international play, Ramsey was appointed captain of the Wales senior team, the youngest player to do so.

This is the final season of Nike's 20-year partnership with Arsenal, and for a final bow they have replaced last year's purple and black hooped away shirt with this classic yellow jersey.

Arsenal have worn yellow for many memorable seasons throughout its 127-year history.

This season's away jersey most closely resembles the shirt worn by the Gunners' legendary unbeaten "Invincibles," team from the 2003-2004 campaign.

The most recent Arsenal team to win a trophy, the 2005 FA Cup, also sported the canary color.

Arsenal have twice ended trophy draughts dressed in yellow, winning the English Premier League in 1989 and 1998. Arsene Wenger's men, spearheaded by Santi Cazorla, Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshire, will aim to do the same this season.

Shout "one-nil to the Arsenal" in this shirt as the Gunners compete in Premier League and UEFA Champions League matches this term. Find it at soccer.com: unmatched.

The U.S. Governing body for the sport did not have soccer in its name until 1945, when it became the U.S. Soccer Football Association. The mascot for the 1990 FIFA World Cup in Italy was a green, white and red stick figure with a soccer ball head named Ciao. The first soccer league in the United States was the American Football Association, which existed from 1884-88. In the first US Open Cup Final, played in 1914, Brooklyn Field Club defeated Brooklyn Celtic, 2-1. Manchester United has won more English titles (19) than any other team in England.
