This jersey was created to honor Atletico's victory in April 1975, when they defeated the South American champions Independiente 2-0 in the second leg of the Intercontiental Cup, winning 2-1 on aggregate to become the champions of the world for the first time.

Inspired by the 1975 side, this jersey will be worn during the 40th anniversary of the triumph.

The new home shirt has the same design worn by the side who became world champions with three wide stripes on the front and back, as well as the distinctive white box to display the players' numbers on the back.

The stripes have a tonal background chevron graphic on the front. The chevron also echoes the shape of the bottom of the Atl誰ï申ï申©tico club crest.

The shirt has a unique blue polo neck collar with a V-shaped insert and high blue cuffs on the sleeves.

Inside the neck is a pennant tab featuring the Spanish flag and "Campe坦n del Mundo 1975" (Champions of the world) to once again mark one of Atl誰ï申ï申©tico's greatest ever achievements.

Dri-FIT. Polyester.
