Part of Nike's USA Centennial line, this new official USA jersey celebrates 100 years of American soccer. This is the jersey the team will wear during 2014 qualifying.

This jersey has a unique USA badge created especially for the Centennial embroidered on the front and screened inside the collar. This Centennial badge features thirteen stars and thirteen stripes, representing the original 13 US colonies.

The Centennial USA Jersey also comes in a commemorative box.

The first recorded women's soccer game took place on March 23, 1895. The most prolific goal-scorer in the North American Soccer League was Italian Giorgio Chinaglia of the New York Cosmos: 242 goals in 254 games. On a regulation size field, the edge of the penalty box is 18 yards from the goal line. The first soccer game based on English FA rules in the United States took place between Rutgers University and Princeton University on Novermber 6, 1869. In the early years of of the game, American soccer was dominated by teams from New England, particularly Fall River, New Bedford and Pawtucket.
