At the 1962 World Cup in Chile, Pelé, for the second time in succession, becomes a World Cup winner in Puma boots. While wearing Puma boots, South Korea’s Jung Hwan Ahn shocked the soccer world by eliminating Italy with a “Golden Goal” to secure a place for the host country in the semi-finals of the 2002 World Cup. Dutch midfielder Phillip Cocu completed a tournament-leading 283 passes at Euro 2004 while wearing Puma boots. Rules of the Game: On a soccer field, the two longer boundary lines are called touch lines. The two shorter lines are called goal lines. On a regulation size field, the edge of the penalty box is 18 yards from the goal line.
