Root for the Sounders!

In a much-anticipated move, Obafemi Martins came to the Sounders from Levante (Spain) in March 2013. Known and feared for his lightening speed, boundless energy and ability to chase down the long ball, this Nigerian is expected to make an impact on the Sounders offense. Before making the leap across the pond, Martins played 12 years in Germany, Italy, Spain and England.

Martins' brothers, Oladipupo Olarotini and John Ronan Martins also play professional soccer.

Join the Sounders' faithful in their 2013 authentic home jersey!

This long-sleeved jersey features the Seattle Sounders team badge heat-pressed on the front, screened adidas logo and team kit sponsor. A silhouette of Seattle's famous Space Needle building is embossed into the jersey and screened under the back collar.
