Gunners Forever

Whether watching the Gunners kicking it live at Emirates Stadium or catching the action on TV, we are Gooners through and through.

Arsenal returned to its traditional team badge in 2012 from the 125th anniversary badge they wore during the 11/12 season, and the jersey was such a smashing success that the club opted to sport it again in this campaign.

The red jersey has the traditional look with white sleeves. New for 2012 and still sharp in 2013, Arsenal's home jersey has a blue crewneck collar and blue details on the cuffs. The white sleeves and blue details pay tribute to the kits Arsenal wore in the 1930s under legendary manager Herbert Chapman. There is also a detail on the back collar that honors Chapman's revolutionary WM formation and Arsenal's motto Victoria, Concordia, Crescit, which means Victory through Harmony.

Embroidered Arsenal team badge and Nike logo are on the front along with a screened sponsor design. Moisture wicking, vented jersey with Dri-FIT technology. 100% recycled polyester.

The mascot for the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany was a lion named Goleo VI. He had a talking soccer ball sidekick named Pille. The North American Soccer League (NASL) existed from 1968 to 1984 with teams in the United States and Canada. The first soccer league in the United States was the American Football Association, which existed from 1884-88. The first appearance of organized women's soccer in the US may have been in 1922, when a team sponsored by English company Dick, Kerr toured the country -and beat several top men's teams. England played its first-ever international soccer match on November 30, 1872 against Scotland.
