You can find nearly 1500 replica items from your favorite clubs and national teams on soccer.com. Soccer was first played as an official Olympic competition in 1908. Great Britain won the Gold that year. Karl-Heinz Korbel, who played for Eintracht Frankfurt from 1972 to 1991, holds the record for Bundesliga appearances with 602. Unlike the Olympics, FIFA recognizes the four Home Nations of the United Kingdom - England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland- as separate entities. The 1970 and 1986 World Cups were held in Mexico.
