Outfitted in Nike uniforms, FC Porto won the 2002/03 UEFA Cup and the 2003/04 Champions League. Rules of the Game: During penalty kicks to determine the winner of a match, the goalkeeper who is the teammate of the kicker must remain on the field of play, outside the penalty area in which the kicks are being taken, and on the goal line where it meets Goalkeeper is the only position to be explicitly part of the rules of the game since they were codified in the 19th century. America's best performance in the World Cup since 1930 came in 2002, when the Yanks made it to the quarterfinals. The Netherlands' Ernie Brandt is the only man to score a goal for both teams in a World Cup game, accomplishing the feat in 1978.
