Each FIFA World Cup since 1966 has its own mascot, starting with World Cup Willie (a lion). The U.S. Women's National Team went 51 games without a loss between 2004 and 2007. American Bert Patenaude scored the first hat trick in World Cup history in a 3-0 victory over Paraguay in 1930. The 1970 World Cup was the first to be televised in color.
