Master 4-4-2 Off-Balance

with Angela Kelly,

University of Tennessee Head Women's Soccer Coach

Coach Angela Kelly demonstrates breakdown drills you can use to master and effectively implement the 4-4-2 Off-Balance Offense. Coach Kelly uses each drill to enhance and develop a different aspect of the 4-4-2 Off-Balance. Using marker board presentation and on-field demonstration with players, Kelly provides step-by-step principles and movements for every player and position. She shares drills for the near-far slot, front 6-back 4, counters, 5 v 5 and 4 v 4 with free players. She moves from the basic to the tactical in a natural progression and gives applicable rules to be followed so every player knows where, when, and why they should be at all times. Coach Kelly strongly emphasizes team communication, maintaining pressure, hustling in transition, and stretching the defense to maximize scoring opportunities and break down the defense.
