The choice of top players for more than two decades, the World Cup is the soft ground version of the classic soccer boot from adidas.

SUELA: Con seis tacos separables. Para terrenos suaves y naturales. PESO: (10.1 onzas) Importado.

adidas founder Adi Dassler produced his first soccer boots in 1929. They featured leather outsoles and studs. The first African nation to qualify for the World Cup was Egypt in 1934. The second was Morocco in 1970. The 1934 and 1990 World Cups were held in Italy. The 1970 World Cup was the first to be televised in color. Manchester City has the largest pitch of any club in the English Premier League: 116 x 77 yards.
