Bora Milutinovic is the only man to coach five World Cups with five different teams: Mexico, Costa Rica, United States, Nigeria and China. Just Fontaine scored 13 goals for France in the 1958 World Cup, the most for an individual in a single tournament. Substitutions were allowed for the first time in the 1970 World Cup.
