100 YEARS OF GREATNESS

A jersey created to celebrate Portugal's centenary.

In Portugal's classic red with green trimmed V-neck collar design, the 2014 Portugal home jersey has a tonal design of dark red and bright red stripes on the top half and sleeves.

These stripes are supposed to create an energizing graphic that provides a sense of speed and exhilaration.

This jersey has an embroidered Portugal team badge with 1914 and 2014 to commemorate their 100 year anniversary.

Inside the back collar is a red-and-green pennant with the Armillary Sphere to honor Portugal's seafaring history.

Evolved construction and materials significantly reduce weight. Dri-FIT moisture control. Nike's new Portugal home jersey is made of recycled plastic bottles. 100% recycled polyester.

The earliest documented use of the word football appears in a proclamation by King Henry IV of England in 1409. In 1994, Detroit’s Pontiac Silverdome was the first-ever indoor stadium to be used in the World Cup. The team sponsored by Bethlehem Steel won four out of the first six US Open Cup tournaments- 1915, '16, '18 and '19.
