The official match ball for the 2012 MLS season. Designed exclusively for MLS to improve accuracy, consistency and performance. The Prime is used by all 19 clubs in 2012. Its design features the colors of MLS logo and elements from the MLS Cup trophy.

The official ball for the 2006 World Cup was the adidas Teamgeist. Rules of the Game: If a team finishes a match with a greater number of players than their opponents and penalty kicks are taken to determine the winner of a match, that team shall reduce their numbers to equal that of their opponents.
