Official UEFA Euro 2012 Final Match Ball

Official match ball of the UEFA Euro 2012 finals held on July 1, 2012 at the Olympic Stadium in Kiev.

Based on a classic design used during the FIFA World Cup and UEFA EURO tournaments in the early 80s, the Tango 12 has a modern interpretation. The design pays tribute to the decorative art of paper cutting popular in both host countries (Ukraine and Poland) and symbolises unity, rivalry and passion.

The Tango 12 also has a series of triangular PU panels that are thermally bonded together to ensure a true flight path. Covering each panel of the PU ball is a grip texture which supports boot to ball contact and enhances ball control. Beneath the outer surface of the ball lies a woven carcass and a new bladder for increased air retention and reduced water uptake.
