Argentine defender Fabricio Coloccini came to Newcastle in 2008 from Deportivo La Coruna in Spain. As one of the Premier League's most reliable and powerful defenders, he was named to the PFA Team of the Year in 2012. Before his years with Newcastle, he played for Boca Juniors, Milan, San Lorenzo (on loan), Alaves (on loan), Atletico Madrid (on loan), Villarreal (on loan) and Deportive La Coruna.
