Rules of the Game: Any of the other players may change places with the goalkeeper provided that the referee is informed before the change is made and the change is made during a stoppage in the match. Attendance for the 1950 World Cup Final at Maracana Stadium in Brazil was an amazing 199,500! The team sponsored by Bethlehem Steel won four out of the first six US Open Cup tournaments- 1915, '16, '18 and '19. The first appearance of organized women's soccer in the US may have been in 1922, when a team sponsored by English company Dick, Kerr toured the country -and beat several top men's teams. The Netherlands' Ernie Brandt is the only man to score a goal for both teams in a World Cup game, accomplishing the feat in 1978.
