Rules of the Game: An indirect free kick is awarded to the opposing team if a goalkeeper touches the ball with his hands after it has been deliberately kicked to him by a teammate. The mascot for the 1990 FIFA World Cup in Italy was a green, white and red stick figure with a soccer ball head named Ciao.
