Aimar Leaves Hospital, Should Be Okay
(Goal.com) - Lovers of the beautiful game received good news today when Valencia midfield ace Pablo Aimar was released from the hospital.
Aimar was being treated for viral meningitis, but Aimar's particular case was not life- or career-threatening and he is expected to make a full recovery but it is unclear whether this will impact Aimar's chances of leading Argentina in the World Cup in less than two months.
No timetable has been given for his return to action, but on the club's website Aimar optimistically said, "I am looking forward to playing again as soon as possible and helping my team over their remaining league matches."
