Aragones Aims To Redo Spain Rep
(Soccer365.com) - Spain manager Luis Aragones has asserted that it will be his mission to lead the team deep into World Cup 2006 in order to alter their reputation of being big tourney chokers.
The nation have not gone past the round of eight in nine appearances since reaching the 1950 final.
"This time the myth will be ended," declared Aragones. "We'll get past the quarterfinals."
"It's my professional ambition and I try to transmit to the players that we have to achieve it, that we're going to achieve it."
