Arruabarrena Follows Instruction

(Soccer365.com) - Villareal hero Rudolfo Arruabarrena has revealed that he was simply following Juan Román Riquelme orders when he kissed home the goal that eliminated Inter Milan from the Champions League on Tuesday night.

"At halftime, we talked pretty urgently in the dressing room," said the defender. "We were running the game, but it was still 0-0 and we knew that it was the moment to make one more giant effort and push for the semifinals."

"During that chat, we talked about what would happen on set pieces and Juan Román told me precisely what he was going to do if we won a dangerous free kick that was outside of shooting range," laughed Arruabarrena.

"The reality is that when Román tells you what he will do with a dead ball you know he will deliver," he stated. "All you have to do is follow his instructions and it's easy to score."
