Forlan Warns Gunners
(Goal.com) - Villarreal striker Diego Forlan has warned Arsenal there is a lot more to come from the Yellow Submarine in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final.
The Spanish side were beaten 1-0 in the first leg at Highbury after showi ng little attacking threat.
"We didn't keep the ball or create anything - we didn't deserve to win," Forlan told BBC Sport.
"But it's not the end. We'll try to go forward and put a lot more pressure on Arsenal at El Madrigal."
The 26-year-old Uruguayan added: "There are only 90 minutes to go to the final and we need to give our all.
"Hopefully we can perform much better at home than we did at Highbury. We were not happy to lose but have still got a chance - we must be optimistic."
Forlan, who won a share of the Golden Boot for being Europe's leading goalscorer last season, aolng with semi-final adversary Thierry Henry, said he was very impressed with Arsenal at Highbury.
"They played very well - they defended excellently and didn't let us play," the ex-Manchester United man said.
"They had five players in midfield, but still managed to go forward with pace.
"It was a good result for them because they won and didn't concede an away goal.
"They have a good team, packed with quality players - we've always said that."
Forlan also admitted he would welcome a move to one of Europe's biggest clubs in the summer.
"Of course - I think every player wants to go to a big team and that's what I aim (for)," he said.
"I'm in a good team and am very comfortable, but of course everyone looks forward for growing and that's what I'm aiming (for) too."
He added that he would consider a move back to the English Premiership, after spending two-and-a-half years there with United before moving to Spain in 2004.
"If there's a good offer - a good offer for me and the club - of course I will be going back. I would like to."
Villarreal will have goalkeeper Sebastian Viera back on Tuesday, but midfielder Alessio Tacchinardi, on loan from Juventus, is suspended.
