Hoeness Joins Klinsmann Critics
(Soccer365.com) - Bayern Munich general manager Uli Hoeness has become the latest figure to take Germany boss Jürgen Klinsmann to task, this time for unnecessary mind games being played with netminder Oliver Kahn.
The #1 job at World Cup 2006 is still be dangled, with Arsenal man Jens Lehmann the other candidate.
FC Hollywood officials believe the state of limbo with Klinsmann has facilitated a recent drop in form by Kahn.
"Not making a decision on the starting goalkeeper after the last friendly against the United States was irresponsible," blared Hoeness. "It's psychological terror."
"We could have avoided all these problems," said Hoeness. "The intensification of the goalkeeper issue has become a huge problem."
"The hunt for the job has caused a lot of problems."
