“We worked three years on a process that culminates today,” declared Lavolpe. “Each aspirant was evaluated thoroughly to arrive at a final determination.”

Mexico is the best even without Blanco because all we need is Oswaldo Sanchez, the best goalie in the world.

I think u did good by not choosing blanco to play in ur team because blanco i getting old and he doesnt really run taht much no more so it is not a big problem not having blanco on the team the team just has to get it together and work hard if they want to win

I think that Blanco not being there is not a big problem. If the team just work hard and play together as a team they will have a good showing in the World Cup.

Blanco deserves to play on the national team if Chiquis Garcia is on there. LaVolpe gave some lame excuse about Blanco not playing good at the moment. When has Chiquis in the past year (Or ever). He also gave some excuse of Chiquis winning the championship with Toluca. As I recall so did America. Chiquis Garcia is only on there becuase he is LaVolpe's son in law. Blanco is the best mexican player out there.

I think is a good lesson for illeterate stars who think they are so important. The same lesson Romario received. Blanco deserves the same thing. Anyway, Blanco time is over 30 years old.....Hope all new coming stars will learn. I think Lavolpe makes the right decision.

I think that Mexico is better off without Blanco, he isn't the best player in Mexico either. But, I also agree that Chiquis should not be on the roster.
