Real Respond To Rafa’s Raul Link
(Goal.com) - Real Madrid have issued a ‘hands-off’ warning to Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez after reported interest in striker Raul.
The Mirror claimed that Benitez was eyeing the Spanish international to solve the club’s goalscoring problems after disappointing performances from the likes of Fernando Morientes and Djibril Cisse this season.
But when Spanish daily Marca asked the Merengues about the link, the club replied: "Raul is untouchable".
The player himself is known to be happy at the Bernabeu and will only leave if he is told that he is no longer wanted.
