(Soccer365.com) - New England Revolution midfielder Marshall Leonard out for season after surgery.
New England midfielder Marshall Leonard will miss the remainder of the MLS season after Tuesday surgery to repair his left Achilles tendon.
The Georgia native was injured during Monday’s scrimmage with Boston College, but Revs coach Steve Nicol reported it was a non-contact setback.
"There was nobody around him," he told MLS.net. "It was just one of those things."
Marshall is in his fifth season with New England having worked 63 regular season and eight playoff contests.
