Demichelis Broken Over Omission
(Soccer365.com) - Demichells was shocked to learn he would not be on Pekerman's Argentina World Cup squad.
Bayern Munich midfielder Martin Demichelis was utterly distraught upon learning that he missed out on a trip to World Cup 2006 with Argentina.
The versatile player enjoyed a very strong Bundesliga season, and was stunned with the rejection.
"The coach gave me a phone call before announcing the list in Argentina," he told Estudio Futbol. "I am out, and with his decision, I feel that I don't want to play nor live anymore."
"Since I found out, I don't have the will to dedicate myself to football," continued an emotional Demichelis. "Now I don't want to do anything else, I don't even want to travel anywhere."
