Ecuador Announce World Cup Squad
(Goal.com) - Ecuador coach Luis Fernando Suárez has announced his World Cup squad. The South American country are in Group A along with hosts Germany, plus Costa Rica and Poland.
Ecuador's 23-man provisional squad for Germany is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Edwin Villafuerte (Deportivo Quito), Cristian Mora (Liga de Quito) , Damian Lanza (Aucas).
Defenders: Iván Hurtado (Al Arabi - Qatar), Ulises De la Cruz (Aston Villa - England), José Luis Perlaza (Olmedo), Jorge Guagua (El Nacional), Paul Ambrossi, Néicer Reasco & Giovanny Espinoza (Liga de Quito).
Midfielders: Antonio Valencia (Recreativo de Huelva - Spain), Edwin Tenorio (Barcelona), Edison Méndez & Patricio Urrutia (Liga de Quito), Marlon Ayoví & Luis Saritama (Deportivo Quito), Segundo Castillo & Cristian Lara (El Nacional).
Strikers: Iván Kaviedes (Argentinos Juniors - Argentina), Agustín Delgado (Liga de Quito ), Félix Borja & Cristian Benítez (El Nacional), Carlos Tenorio (Al Saad - Qatar).
