HSV: Ball Is In Podolski’s Court
(Soccer365.com) - Hamburg executive Dietmar Beiersdorfer promises that the club have done all they can to convince Cologne wunderkind Lukas Podolski to make an AOL Arena switch, and says the full decision now lies with the player.
"We will continue to fight for him," he told Express. "He knows that we want him, but it is now up to him to make a move."
"We have told him that we feel a move to Hamburg would be the best for his career."
Bayern Munich and Werder Bremen have also winked at the influential Germany forward.
