Inzaghi Gets Awaited Italy Call
(Soccer365.com) - The wait is over for Inzaghi as the AC Milan star is called on to shore up the Italian national team Germany 2006 squad.
AC Milan poacher Pippo Inzaghi was elated to find out that he was called into Marcelo Lippi’s provisional World Cup squad after the seasons of injury troubles.
"I'm pleased," he declared. "To come back into the national side after two years' absence is something extraordinary."
"I've got a big desire to play."
The 32-year-old has connected 13 times in his last 14 league contests as the Rossoneri apply late Scudetto pressure to tabletop Juventus.

He is a great striker but many time we found him in off side position. I rather see Francisco Toti in his place. although I want to see Wayne Ronnie raise the world up trophy.
