Klinsmann: ‘Perspective’ In U.S.
(Soccer365.com) - Germany boss Jürgen Klinsmann has explained that his frequent trips home to California were actually a positive influence on his pre-World Cup work.
The coach took plenty of heat for his globe hopping ways in the domestic press – part of the reason he kept up the habit until recently.
"I get distance and look at things outside the box and it helps," insisted the Golden Bomber. "Living in the U.S. gives you a different perspective."
"I learned from (U.S. coach) Bruce Arena and from different coaches in different sports in the U.S.," revealed Klinsmann. "It widens your picture, definitely."
