Lavolpe Backs Green Guardado
(Soccer365.com) - Mexico boss Ricardo Lavolpe believes teen midfielder Andres Guardado can make a splash at World Cup.
The Atlas starlet has impressed since making his senior debut in December.
"He's got the dynamism you'd expect of a 19-year old kid," said Lavolpe. "He doesn't know what fear is, either."
"We thought he might be nervous and overawed about playing for his country, but he's shown real character and steel."

Yeah! LaVolpe is right. Youngsters can do the right thing in a World Cup! Pele started playing in the Worldcup at a very young age, Maradona, Michael Owen and others became Worldcup stars although being very young! I back LaVolpes decision definetly!

Guardado is the best u-20 player from Mexico today.
I think he has anything that a great player needs.
If he can put up a good performane at the World Cup he might get traded to a famous European team.
I also think guardado plays and has more talent than some of the mexican players in the national team.
For example he is better than F. Rodriguez, Omar Bravo, and Joel Hiqui.
One more thing Club America is the best in the Mexican League

Lavolpe is doing right by having him on the roster. He will develop into a great player, but I doubt he'll make in impact in the world cup. He's certainlly as well developed as some of the national players, but certainlly not as well developed as Omar Bravo, yet. Perhaps in the near future.

Yeah Lavolpe made a good decision but I think he also should of put Alberto Medina (Chivas), on the roster. With Guardado and Medina on the wings they would have been unstopable.

Guadrado is a well balance and dynamic player but i don't think will make a impact the palyer i think that can make a impact is Omar Bravo(Chivas)

guardado is a very good player and will help mexico alot in the world cup, but i think they should also have cuathemoc blanco in the starter roster.
