Argentina phenom Lionel Messi says he feels perfectly comfortable performing in an all out attack side as they head into World Cup 2006.

"We are calm at the moment and we prefer not to talk too much," said the Barcelona ace. "I am looking forward to playing."

"In the last few games, we showed the Argentina national side is attack-minded and that is something I like."

I think Leo Messi is in fact the next MARADONA and will have a huge impact in the attacking position for Argentina, possibly becoming the next world champion.

Why is every talented young argentenian player always compared to Maradona. and every Brasilian compared to Pele? Its just stupid. Why cant we Just let them be themselves on the greensquare.

Comparisons are inevitable when you get to this level, although sometimes unfortunate, and the World Cup breeds legend. It puts a lot of pressure on a young player to be compared to the likes of Maradona or Pele, but I have to admit, I'm really excited to see Messi perform in Germany. He's so devastatingly clever on the ball, I think he's going to be one of the talked about players when Germany 06 is done.
