Mizrahi: Cruz Azul ready for anyone
(Soccer365.com) - Cruz Azul boss, Isaac Mizrahi said his squad is ready for any team they may encounter in the Mexican league playoffs.
Despite losing three starters to the national team for Germany ’06, Cruz Azul technical director, Isaac Mizrahi said his group is ready for any rival they may face in the Mexican league playoffs, for the goal is a championship, but for now they will only focus on Toluca.
“As I’ve always said, Cruz Azul has gone from less to more, we’ve done things well and come into the playoffs in good shape.”
Mizrahi assured he was pleased with the Cement Machine’s performance last Saturday in the 3-2 home victory over top-seed Pachuca. “This team has very aware players, who analyze themselves and critique themselves a lot, and that has me quite pleased.”
Coach Mizrahi emphasized his confidence in the young players who will debut for third-seeded Cruz in the playoffs.
“I know all their capabilities, I know them all, and I know their great quality, so I am certain that when we call on them, they’ll respond,” he said.
About playing current holders, Toluca, Mizrahi understands he’ll face an experienced team “much like the one who eliminated us in the ’05 Apertura.”
Mizrahi concluded by stating his squad will not be intimidated by playing in Toluca’s ‘La Bombonera’ for the first leg, noting that “all pitches are the same size, the only difference is the scenery.”

cruzazul has been my team since I was a little but they need to get a better big name coach because is time for them to win a championship. They have good players all they need is a good coach
