Neville Fine For Jamaica Friendly

(Goal.com) - England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson has insisted that right-back Gary Neville will be fit enough to start Saturday's final World Cup warm-up match against Jamaica.

The Manchester United defender had to withdraw from last night's 3-1 win against Hungary with a hamstring strain, but the injury wasn't serious.

Eriksson explained that Neville, who missed the last World Cup through injury, was only taken off as a precaution.

He said: "It's important we don't take any risks with Gary Neville because we need him and we need him very much."

Neville, who is the only proper right-back in the squad, will make his 80th appearance for England if he features against Jamaica.

Hey

England are one of the favourate to reach the semi - finals of this world cup 2006, together with Czech Republic, Brazil and our own African team IVORY COAST. However, England's choice of friendlies while preparing for this prestigious tournament calls for concern. I was expecting such teams as Greece, Cameroon and may be Denmark. These teams would have atleast given us an indication as to how much prepared England is.

I would love to see England go all the way to win this major trophy - I just love English Football, I can't help it!!

However, I don't see it happenning in this world cup 2006 in Germany!

I REALLY WISH YOU GO ALL THE WAY ENGLAND, I REALLT DO.

Glad I've fianlly found something I agree with!
