Nowak Unsure Over Disallowed Goal
(Soccer365.com) - D.C. United coach Peter Nowak says he thought midfielder Joshua Gros should not have been ruled offside on a potential game winner against FC Dallas this weekend, but admits he may not have had the best view.
"I think from my perspective there was another player on the post, but maybe I'm wrong," said the coach. "The linesman said Josh was standing there the whole time, so that's why they called it."
Nowak saluted both sides for a top-notch battle that left the teams as MLS’ final unbeatens.
"It was a tough game, as we expected it was going to be," he stated. "There was a good fight from both teams."
