Parreira Nudges Brazil To Form
(Soccer365.com) - Brazil coach Carlos Alberto Parreira reacted to an 8-0 friendly win over FC Lucerne with admissions that his defending champions have not yet reached World Cup form.
"We still need to improve," he told reporters. "Today was only our eighth day of preparation – it's a short period of time to expect perfection."
"It was another step toward our main goal, which is to be ready for the beginning of World Cup."
Parreira did have to make a squad change on Wednesday, replacing injured midfielder Edmilson with São Paulo man Mineiro.
