Ruud Ready To Light Up WC
(Soccer365.com) - The Dutch sharpshooter is ready to strike big in Germany '06.
Holland striker Ruud van Nistelrooy claims he is emerging from an uncharacteristically light workload with Manchester United primed for a big World Cup.
The goal ace has been frustrated by his recent place on the bench with the Red Devils, but says this lack of action will ultimately benefit Oranje in Germany.
"I am no longer bothered by little pains or complaints and I am not burned out after a long and tough season," van Nistelrooy told De Telegraaf.
"I feel that I am fitter than ever and cannot wait to go to the World Cup."

Yes! I hope Rudd shows the world why United are the dumbest club in the world, for letting him go. i dont understand why sir alex ferguson is considered a great coach. If he was a great coach he would have kept beckham, keane, and rudd. Therefore, he might have been able to bring in michael ballack, who i believe is one of the top three midfielders in the world. Go RUDD and Go HOLLAND!

ruud has yet to be transfered but his exit from old trafford is inevitable, Sir Alex has driven off many stars, probably due to the fact that they receive more attention than he does... this might not be true but i think its a good theory

Ruud is a great player. But his play of late has made it so that I tend to go along with Sir Alex's decition. Ruud is payed way too much just to sit on the bench. The fact that Saha has broken his duck and is scoring like mad, for less than the dutchman only reonforces that Sir Alex has made the best decition for the club.

guys, i swcithed to turf shoes maybe 2 months ago. i play soccer once a week on a turf surface. my left knee has swelled and has been sore for the past month. i'm starting to realize that the soccer shoe is to blame. never had a problem wearing full on cleats (always adidas) even when playing on hard surfaces.
