Portugal coach Luiz Felipe Scolari says he is counting on veteran attacker Luis Figo to lead the squad at next month’s World Cup.
A member of the nation’s “Golden Generation”, the Inter Milan man is being charged with showing the way to victory.
"He's one of our mainstays, not only because of how he plays, but also because of what he represents and the way he worries opponents," said Big Phil.
"Off the field, he offers his experience to the other players and helps ease younger players into the side."

I agree with Big Phil. Figo has to Lead the team. Figo can't act like he did after he was substituted out of a match in the Euro 2004. Instead of staying on the bench to support his team, he chose to go to the locker room. He cant be selfish. He has to show Maturity if Portugal is going to have success at the World Cup.
