Sheva Expected To Be Fit For WC
(Soccer365.com) - Ukrainian forward Shevchenko will be ready to lead his team to Germany next month.
AC Milan doctors reports that strike ace Andriy Shevchenko will be recovered from a knee problem in plenty of time to lead Ukraine at World Cup.
The forward will miss the Rossoneri’s season finale, but the medical staff is confident he is in no danger of missing the grand tourney.
"After several examinations, we can confirm that Shevchenko needs to be rested for 25 days, that's to say 15 of complete rest and 10 for rehabilitation," stated Jean-Pierre Meersseman.
"He will be able to train to be ready with regards to the World Cup."
