Soca Warriors Tune Up With Win

(Soccer365.com) - Trinidad and Tobago continued their World Cup build-up with a 3-2 victory over Austria Vienna on Tuesday night.

Trinidad and Tobago continued their World Cup build-up with a 3-2 victory over Austria Vienna on Tuesday night.

The Soca Warriors - who are in Group B alongside England, Sweden and Paraguay - went ahead in the 25th minute with a goal from Coventry striker Stern John.

St Johnstone forward Jason Scotland added a second two minutes later as the Caribbean side went in at half-time with a 2-0 lead.

Coach Leo Beenhakker made eight changes at the break with only skipper Dwight Yorke, Chris Birchall and Densill Theobald keeping their places.

Andreas Walzer pulled a goal back for the Austrians in the 79th minute but substitute Kenwyne Jones of Southampton restored Trinidad and Tobago's advantage.

Austria pulled a goal back from the penalty spot in injury time but Beenhakker's side had done enough for victory.
