Spurs Sign Massive Sponsorship Deal
(Goal.com) - Tottenham announced on Monday that they'd secured a shirt sponsorship deal with online casino company Mansion.
The massive four-year deal is worth at least £34m to the North London club and is among the largest ten deals of its kind in the World.
Mansion, who had been in talks with Manchester United last month, will replace travel agents Thomson as Spurs' shirt sponsor from July 1st.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy said: "Tottenham has made progress on and off the pitch in recent years which has put the club in a good position to improve its commercial partnerships.
"We are excited about working with Mansion and keen to accelerate the international development of the club."
While David Kinsmann, chief operating officer of Mansion, added: "We have been looking to secure a major Premier League deal for some time.
"Tottenham has a long and successful history, great traditions and a wonderful brand."
The money is expected to aid Martin Jol's summer spending spree, which could see Dimitar Berbatov and Pascal Chimbonda arrive at White Hart Lane.
