Vieri Set For Knee Operation
(Soccer365.com) - Monaco loan striker Christian Vieri will immediately go under the knife to deal with a late season knee setback, and is highly doubtful for World Cup participation with Italy.
"Given the evolution of the injury, Christian Vieri will undergo surgery in the coming days," read a club statement.
The AC Milan man is being tipped to leave the club this summer, but Monaco have not offered any indication on whether they would want him back on a permanent transfer.
