G6 Team Profile: BRAZIL
What is there to say about Brazil’s national team that isn’t obvious? These guys are legends, true giants of the game. Five-time champions as well as the defending champions. To them, the game is a passion in a way that most others can never fully comprehend.
Brazil coach Carlos Alberto Parreira has the enviable problem of too many good players to choose from. Leading the attack will be Ronaldinho (Barcelona), the 2005 FIFA World Player of the Year. Joining him will be one of the game’s most familiar faces, that of three-time World Player of the Year Ronaldo (Real Madrid).
Other superstars in the mix will be exciting youngster Robinho (Real Madrid), lethal goal-scorers Adriano (Inter Milan) and Kaká (AC Milan) and veteran midfielder Emerson (Juventus). At the other end of the field look for veterans Cafu (AC Milan) and Roberto Carlos (Real Madrid) to anchor the defense while extremely capable Dida (AC Milan) minds the nets. And sure, going by just one name is a bit pretentious, but when you’ve got the skills to back it up, who cares?
Ranked #1 in the world, Brazil is the odds-on favorite to lift yet another World Cup. Even if they don’t go all the way, they will almost certainly make a good run and can definitely be counted upon to make the tournament even more exciting.
On a side note, Brazil met Argentina twice in the qualifying rounds. The first time they won, 3-1, the second time the lost by the same margin. If the two archrivals should meet in the World Cup (which could happen in the semi-finals) it would certainly be one of the marquee match-ups of the tournament.

it's a dream team. brazil is just amazing, I mean.. doesn't anyone ask themselves who plays in defence??? because even cafu and roberto carlos always play pretty far up.. but still, they win and play beautiful soccer

History will repeat as we see Brazil winning the World Cup again in Europe. They've won the tournments in Asia, North & South America 'cos they are 6 time Champions. Perhaps their play might not be as spectacular as Pele's squad in 1970. Like him or not, Ronaldo will be the top scorer breaking Germany's Muller 14 goals. Trust me guys!

Brazilians are so good because not only do they have amazing skills but they coupled that up with speed and athleticism. That is why they don't nee to rely heavily on teamwork and spacing out. Argentina and other slow teams do. But Brazil can do what Argentina does only that 2 times quiqker or even more. I think that they might stumble against Germany because they are more agressive and powerful than most teams out there also England is athletic enought to give them a run for their money an France has tremenduous athletes lke Henry. However I think the only teams in the world that really have what it takes to be like Brazil or surpass Brazil are the Africans and teams alike. Africa has players that possess tremenduous athletic abilities that coupled with intelligence and good team chemistry they could easily be the best in the world and it would not surprise me at all if an African team turned out better than Brazil. An African team is closer to Brazil than any other slow team out there who can only rely on skill and team work but lacks athleticism. Athleticism and high level of skill is what would put a team on par or better than Brazil. Africans and caribbeans are closer to that.

I am Haitian, statistics prove that Brazil is the best team to win again this year. With Ronaldinho and Ronaldo we will see amazing goals. I think this worldcup will come with so many surprises,eg an african team(ivory coast)has the potential to go up to final.most people in soccer circles only mention those soccer power houses as winners(brazil,england).Butlet

I think Brazil is a asome team and they have a great deffense and I think they will make it to the semi-finals. Plus they play alot like Pele when he was a kid in Brazil. Brazil is going to be the champions because they have skills and they know there plays very well and they know there players on thier team alot and they have good sports man ship and they hardly ever get mad in games.

England can only truly be world champions if they can beat Brazil, which frankly, will probably not happen. Ronaldinho is doubtless the best player in the world and even Rooney cannot compete with him and Kaka. I love Ronaldinho to bits!

I luv Brazil team.They bring a whole other meaning and excitment to watching soccer.I haven't watched soccer for long but when i first saw Brazil play my heart was stolen.I did want U.S.A. or Mexico to win but that was until i saw Brazil.Now i never miss a Brazil game.ROBIHNO is great, RONALDO is the best,and RONALDIHNO is unexplainable.Ronaldinho and Ronadldo are my favorites.I just luv the way they handle the ball and make wise passes to their team mates and make the shot.The best game i have seen performed by them was the game against Japan.That was the most outstanding game i've seen.
