(Soccer365.com) - Argentina phenom Lionel Messi says he will only be encouraged by an intimidating home fan display when they tackle hosts Germany in a World Cup 2006 quarterfinal showdown.
"I like to play with the crowd against me," he told reporters. "It's a quarterfinal, and from here they're all difficult matches."
"This one against Germany a bit more because, apart from the football they play, they're at home," shrugged Messi. "Like it or not, that also helps."
