Metzelder To be Fine, Says Low

(Soccer365.com) - Germany assistant coach Joachim Low reports that nicked defender Christoph Metzelder is expected to be available when they battle Ecuador for first place in World Cup 2006 Group A.

The Borussia Dortmund skipper suffered a minor knee injury in weekend training, but it is apparently nothing that will keep him from going to work against the high flying South Americans.

"Christoph Metzelder took part in training (Sunday) and should do again on Monday," said Low. "It is not a serious injury and he is available to play against Ecuador."
