Nowitzki Keeps Eye On World Cup
(Soccer365.com) - Dallas Mavericks superstar Dirk Nowitzki is hoping that his native Germany can reach the World Cup final so he may get to a game.
The towering All-Star forward is currently busy leading his team in the NBA Finals.
"You know, they have a young team, and they have got a new coach that's trying to do some stuff," said Nowitzki. "I'm just sad that I can't be there to support the team and I can't really watch too much because I'm really focused on the finals."
"Hopefully we'll get to the final on July 9th and I'll be there."
