Australia played a good game against Italy despite how they kept tripping and pushing the Italians down all the time. They don't have any style, finesse, tactics or class. Grosso got tripped up twice in the box and he had Iaquinta at the top of the box wide open. That was a valid penalty and the BEST PENALTY OF THE WORLD CUP. it will not be Totti's last goal. Get ready to cry with Klinsman BEC.

Anyone who has watched these two teams play throughout this tournament should realize that the German team is a much stronger side and will be playing on their home terf to win. It will be interesting to see a Germany-Brazil rematch in the finals.

Winning on PKs is sheer luck - I hate PKs to settle games, esp. any type of WC quartefinal and up. Either replay the game, or do something else- take a man off the pitch for every minute played in ET, play 5v5 on half the pitch, SOMETHING. The PKs essentially waste a 120 minutes of time, of the actual game, and then end with was is basically a coin toss (a practice that was once used to settle matches). Maybe they ought to bring the coin back.... FORZA ITALIA!

I honestly think Germany will come out victor in next game against italia. Not only are they more balanced faster and stronger than Italy they also have the whole fans on their side and they also have the referees who are more likely to go easy on them. Come on look at Germany's shooting accuracy and power Italia's defense will definitely have to step up for they could get burned by a missile from long range. Both teams are good only Germany is better equiped to win.

To all Italian fans; Please review the dive that put Italy to the final 16. Amazing, if you think the team played well, Australia was dead even in the statistics, they dominated control. Totti, Toni and the Italian team have not put in a decent goal. The German team has played well, they have attacked and made good on every opportunity, Klose has 5 goals and Podolski has 3. I believe if the tables were turned and the Italians faced Agentina we would of seen Italy go home! Italy had the weekest bracket and barely came out alive. We will see July 4th.

So...The game was well played but Germany could not match the skill level of Italy. The two goals were amazing, a real treat for any soccer fan...even a German. Buffon is simply the best GK in the world!!
