Argentina Concede Pekerman Defeat
(Soccer365.com) - Argentine federation head Julio Grondona has officially accepted Jose Pekerman’s resignation after spending everyday since their World Cup 2006 exit trying to change the coach’s mind.
The post will now be thrown open to a field of interested parties, including erstwhile Mexico manager Ricardo Lavolpe and Albiceleste legend Diego Maradona.
"I've talked to Pekerman and he told me that he will not continue with the national team," Grondona told Clarin. "It was something that was always possible and I am relaxed about it."
"We'll see what will happens… we don't have any names yet."

Pekerman had a great team,he probably should have used Messi more,(especially vs Germany),but keep in mind that the ref in the game against Germany was for the home side, thus Argentina & pekerman shouldn't bow their heads,I was surprised he left home Samuel,Veron and Zanetti,it was their last shot, but what do I know ?Regardless they were unlucky also so the whole blame should not fall on his lap.
